Aligarh: Due to heavy rains in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, the roof of a two-storey house collapsed. In this accident, seven people including three children were buried under the debris. The matter is in Zaidpura village under Tappal police station area. It is said that it is raining heavily in Aligarh for the last 3 days. In the morning, the roof of a two-storey house situated in Zaidpura village suddenly collapsed. The relatives were sleeping in the house at the time of the incident. In this accident, seven people including three children and two women were buried under the debris.

The locals, as soon as they heard about the accident, reached the spot and informed the police. Following the accident, the police rescued the injured trapped under the debris. They admitted the injured to the hospital. Meanwhile, doctors referred a critically injured woman to JN Medical College. Area Officer Varun Kumar Singh said that the roof of a house suddenly collapsed on Thursday morning. All the people who were sleeping at the time of the incident were buried under the debris. All the people were later rescued and admitted to the hospital.

Saddam, a resident of Zaidpura, said that the accident occurred around 3 am on Thursday. Seven people have been injured in the accident and are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Meanwhile, due to fear of heavy rains, the DM has issued an order to keep all government and non-government schools closed on Thursday (September 12, 2024). According to the order, Thursday has been declared a holiday in schools in the district.
