Sexual abuse in Badlapur: The state government has taken action with immediate effect in connection with the Badlapur brutality case. Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis’ office tweeted saying that Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed the Thane Police Commissioner to immediately suspend the Senior Police Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector and Head Constable of Badlapur Police Station. They are accused of delaying action in the initial phase after the incident. At the same time, the SIT has been formed over the incident. SIT will investigate the matter further.

Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said in a social media post that the SIT will be headed by Inspector General of Police Aarti Singh. This information was given by Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan. He spoke to the protesters at Badlapur station. He said that CM Eknath Shinde has formed SIT to investigate the incident. Demand for women’s safety is increasing
Shiv Sena (UBT) also expressed anger over the incident of alleged sexual harassment of a girl at a school in Badlapur. Party MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has said that it is a very sad incident. She said that every time people say that they will fight for women’s rights and get justice, but after elections, no one listens to them. The protesting women say that they do not want to get benefits under the Chief Minister’s Sister Scheme. She has demanded safety of women in the state.

Shinde said on Tuesday that the case would be heard expeditiously and a special public prosecutor would be appointed. Following the incident, parents protested strongly.

He has appealed to the protesting crowd to maintain peace. A school assistant has also been arrested in connection with the incident. Meanwhile, the school management has suspended the principal, a class teacher and a female assistant over the incident.
