He Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has officially published the TNPSC Group 2 Tickets 2024 for the upcoming Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination. Candidates who will be appearing for the examination can now download their admit cards from the official website TNPSC Website in tnpsc.gov.in.

The preliminary exam is scheduled for 14 September 2024, in a single session from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This common preliminary exam is a selection test for candidates who will move on to the main exams.

Candidates appearing for the exam can follow these steps to download their admit cards:

Visit the official website of TNPSC at tnpsc.gov.in.
Click on the link ‘TNPSC Group 2 Hall Ticket 2024’ on the homepage.
Enter your login details, including application number and date of birth, and submit.
The admission card will appear on the screen.
Please check the details and download the admit card.
It is advisable to keep a printed copy for future reference.

The official notification states, “The Admission Memorandum (Hall Ticket) for the candidates admitted for the said examination has been hosted on the Commission’s website www.tnpsc.gov.in and www.tnpscexams.in and the same shall be downloaded through the candidate’s One Time Registration (OTR) panel by entering his/her Application Number and Date of Birth.”

TNPSC Group 2 Classroom Admission 2024: Exam Structure and Details

The TNPSC Group 2 Preliminary Examination consists of 200 questions, carrying a total of 300 marks. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and candidates must score a minimum of 90 marks to qualify. The questions will cover General Studies, Aptitude, Mental Ability and Language (General Tamil or General English).

It is important to note that the preliminary exam serves only as a selection test. The marks obtained in this exam will not be taken into account in determining the final order of merit of the candidates who proceed to the main exam.
