‘To whom should I show the pain given by my own people…’ Five important points of Champai Soren’s rebellious letter – Champai Soren hints rebellion against Hemant Soren and JMM in a long X Post ntc

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Champai Soren has written a long post on X, which indicates that he is definitely going to take some big step. In a long post, he has expressed grief over the treatment meted out to him in his own party. Champai Soren has written that when he was asked to resign from the post of Chief Minister in the Legislature Party meeting after Hemant Soren was released from jail on bail, he broke down because his self-esteem was hurt. Apart from this, he has also said that if Shibu Soren was in active politics today, this situation would not have arisen. Below we tell you five important things about Champai Soren’s rebellious letter…

1. Champai Soren has described himself as a leader who emerged from a movement. He has written in his post that from raising the voice of workers against industrial houses in the beginning of my public life to the Jharkhand movement, I have always done politics of public concern. I have been trying to get the rights of the tribals, natives, poor, laborers, students and backward class people of the state. Whether I held any post or not, I was always available for the public, raising the issues of those people who had dreamed of a better future with the state of Jharkhand.

2. Referring to his short tenure of 5 months as Chief Minister, Champai Soren has written that I discharged my duties towards the state with full loyalty and dedication. During this time, we took many decisions in public interest and, as always, was always available for everyone. The people of the state will evaluate the decisions we took keeping in mind the elders, women, youth, students and every section of the society and every person of the state. When we got power, we took a pledge to serve the state by paying homage to heroes like Baba Tilka Manjhi, Bhagwan Birsa Munda and Sido-Kanhu. Every child of Jharkhand knows that during my tenure, I never did anything wrong to anyone, nor allowed anything to happen.

3. He has thrown light on Hemant Soren’s release from jail and the subsequent developments. He has written in his X post that the day after Hul Diwas, I came to know that all my programs for the next two days have been postponed by the party leadership. One of these was a public program in Dumka, while the other program was to distribute appointment letters to PGT teachers. On asking, it was found that a meeting of the legislative party has been called by the alliance on July 3, till then you cannot go to any program as CM. Can there be anything more humiliating in democracy than this that the programs of a Chief Minister are cancelled by another person?

4. Champai Soren has described the events that took place in the JMM legislative party meeting after Hemant Soren came out of jail as an insult to him. He has written that despite drinking this bitter sip of insult, I said that the appointment letter distribution is in the morning, while the legislative party meeting will be in the afternoon, so I will join it from there. But, there was a clear refusal from there. In my impeccable political journey of the last four decades, for the first time, I was broken from within. I could not understand what to do. I sat quietly for two days and introspected, kept looking for my mistake in the entire incident. There was not even an iota of greed for power, but to whom could I show this blow to my self-respect? Where could I express the pain given by my own people?

5. Champai Soren wrote that I had no desire for power, so I resigned immediately, but my heart was emotional due to the injury to my self-respect. I was emotional due to the insulting behaviour for the last three days and was trying to control my tears, but they were only interested in the chair. I felt as if I had no existence in that party, no existence at all, for which I had dedicated my entire life. With a heavy heart, I said in the same meeting of the legislative party – ‘A new chapter of my life is going to start from today’. I had three options in this. First, to retire from politics, second, to form my own separate organization and third, if I find a companion on this path, then to travel further with him. From that day till today, and till the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections, all options are open for me in this journey.
