Its benefit was first given to 57,120 women from Pakur district of the state, after which the first instalment of this scheme was given to women of all other districts from August 21, 2024.

Eligibility for Maiya Samman Yojana

- Married women, poor women, widows, abandoned women, divorced women and destitute women of the state can avail the benefits of this scheme.
- For this, the annual income of the woman’s family should not exceed Rs 1 lakh.
- There should not be any income tax payer, government employee or 3 or more wheeler vehicle in the woman’s family.
