How much will DA and DRA increase?
According to sources, the government may announce an increase in dearness allowance from 3% to 4% in the third week of September 2024. Earlier in March 2024, the government had increased the DA by 4%. With this, it became 50% of the basic salary. The Seventh Pay Commission was constituted in February 2014. Its recommendations came into effect from January 1, 2016.
