He also said that on August 28, there will be a lockout at the West Bengal Women’s Commission office on behalf of the BJP Mahila Morcha.

The West Bengal BJP state president said that the West Bengal Women’s Commission has become Mamata Banerjee’s commission. Therefore, the BJP’s Mahila Morcha has decided to close its office. Sukant Majumdar said that after this, on August 29, our workers will protest at the DM’s office in all districts of West Bengal.

The Union Minister said that there should be an inquiry against the West Bengal Health Minister. He also said that Mamata Banerjee’s phone should be seized and investigated. On the other hand, women’s organisations and BJP workers in all districts took out torchlight processions in protest against the rape and murder at RG Kar Medical College.

Torchlight procession scrapped in West Medinipur and Siliguri

Former BJP state president Dilip Ghosh led the ‘Torch March’ in West Medinipur. In Phuleshwari of Siliguri district, women organisations organised a torchlight procession and raised slogans against the RG tax incident. In Phuleshwari, women raised slogans like ‘Fight for Justice’, ‘We want Justice’. Little girls were also walking in this rally with placards in their hands.
