The train was running between Bharatpur and Sewar station.
The incident occurred when the Nanda Devi AC Super Fast Express from Dehradun to Kota was passing between Bharatpur and Sewar station. Suddenly there was a strong jolt in the train and the passengers realised that something unusual was happening. When the train stopped, the passengers got down from the coaches and saw that the train was divided into two parts. The locomotive and some coaches of the train had moved ahead while the rest of the coaches had stayed behind. Information has now come to light that this incident was caused by a technical fault.
The train track is blocked and other trains will be late
According to the witness, ‘He had gone to Haridwar to immerse his grandmother’s ashes. While returning, the train slowly stopped with a sharp jolt near Bharatpur. The good thing is that the train was going at a slow speed, so it did not derail, otherwise a serious accident could have occurred. As soon as the information about the incident was received, panic spread in the railway administration. The authorities were immediately informed and a repair team was sent to the spot. The separated compartments were put back together. After this, the train was sent. This entire process was delayed by about a quarter of an hour. Due to this incident, the railway track was disrupted, due to which other trains are also facing delays.
