Train Status: Railways has decided to run special trains for Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath festivals. Under this, special train 06089/06090 MGR Chennai Central-Santragachi-MGR Chennai Central will be run. This train will run from MGR Chennai Central from 4th September to 27th November.

Schedule of special train running between Bengal and Chennai

This train will depart every Wednesday at 1.30 pm and reach Santragachhi at 8.50 pm the next day. In contrast, train no. 06090 Santragachi-MGR Chennai Central Special will depart Santragachi every Thursday at 11.40 pm from 5 September to 28 November and reach MGR Chennai Central at 9 am on the third day. The special train will have halts at Baleshwar and Kharagpur.

Similarly, train no. 01107 LTT Mumbai-Santragachhi Special will depart from LTT Mumbai at 8.15 pm on October 29 and November 5 and arrive at Santragachhi at 5.00 am on the third day. In turn, train no. 01108 Santragachi-LTT Mumbai Special will depart from Santragachi at 3.50 pm on October 31 and November 7 and arrive at LTT Mumbai at 11.45 pm the next day. The special trains will stop at Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar and Kharagpur.

Santragachhi-Jabalpur-Santragachhi will remain canceled

Due to development works on West Central Railway, train number 20828 Santragachi-Jabalpur Express will remain cancelled on 18 and 25 September. Similarly, train number 20827 Jabalpur-Santragachhi Express will remain cancelled on 19 and 26 September.
