Through this partnership, Shiprocket aims to leverage advanced AI applications to improve user engagement and accessibility for its nationwide seller community. This will increase the efficiency of its e-commerce initiatives.

Sunil Kumar, CTO at Shiprocket, anticipates that the partnership with Snowflake will have a “transformative effect” on its operations within 12 to 18 months. The partnership will substantially increase the company’s data processing capabilities, resulting in instant insights and a drastic reduction in data processing time.

“Merchants will benefit from real-time insights into sales trends, inventory levels, and customer behavior, which can optimize their supply chain and personalize marketing strategies. For example, understanding peak sales periods and customer preferences can help merchants adjust their inventory and marketing efforts accordingly, leading to improved sales results and customer satisfaction,” Goel adds.

As for how Shiprocket sees AI’s role in the e-commerce industry evolving, Kumar says AI will enhance personalized shopping experiences, streamline supply chain management, and improve customer service through advanced chatbots and virtual assistants. “We foresee significant advancements in predictive analytics, which will enable businesses to anticipate consumer needs more accurately and tailor their offerings accordingly,” he adds.
