A recent analysis has revealed what is possibly the worst TV show ending of all time and, surprisingly, game of ThronesAlthough it disappointed many with its conclusion, it does not top the list. Instead, it is House of cards which takes the prize for the most disappointing conclusion.

House of Cards: A dramatic decline

According to Bo McCready’s analysis, which compared average episode ratings to final ratings on IMDb, House of Cards saw the steepest drop, Daily Mail reported. The political drama’s final season, following star Kevin Spacey’s abrupt exit due to sexual assault allegations, failed to satisfy viewers. The finale, which aired on November 2, 2018, scored a shocking 2.6 rating out of 10 — a drastic 55% drop from its average episode rating of 8.1.

The finale’s plot sees political troubleshooter Doug Stamper confessing to Claire Hale (now president) that he poisoned her husband, Frank Underwood (previously played by Spacey), leading to a fatal confrontation. Critics and fans expressed displeasure, with Vox calling the ending proof that the series “had nothing to say.”

The promised neverland:A hasty conclusion

Another major disappointment was The Promised Neverland, an anime adaptation that started with high expectations but ended poorly. Mythbusters:The series finale, despite ending with dramatic experiments, received a 4.4 rating, a drop from its average of 7.2. Some fans felt the ending was disappointing compared to the show’s story.
