TVS Capital elevates Rajalakshmi Vaiyanathan to director and Suraj Majee to vice-chairman

TVS Capital Funds (TCF) has announced significant promotions within its investment team as part of its strategy to develop internal talent and expand its capabilities.

Rajalakshmi Vaiyanathan has been promoted to the post of director, while Suraj Majee has been promoted to vice-president.

Rajalakshmi Vaiyanathan’s journey to director

Rajalakshmi Vaiyanathan has been instrumental in shaping TVS Capital Funds’ financial services investments during her five-year tenure.

His leadership extended to the establishment of TCF’s internal research team, a strategic initiative that has strengthened the company’s capabilities. Rajalakshmi brings more than a decade of experience in the equity and debt markets to her role, which has been valuable in guiding the firm’s investment strategies.

Rajalakshmi expressed her gratitude and said, “I deeply value the company’s recognition and support and look forward to continuing to contribute to the organization. Suraj Majee advances to vice president

Suraj Majee, who joined TCF in 2016 as an analyst, has steadily grown within the company. His contributions have been significant in strengthening TCF’s investments in financial services.

During his tenure, he has participated in the execution of 11 investments and has supported multiple exits, demonstrating his experience and commitment to the firm’s objectives.

Recent hires include Chandrasekar V as a research partner at McKinsey and Vijay CP as a senior associate at Bain & Co. for the technology investments team.
