Buxar News: Liquor is banned in Bihar but in a city like Buxar a case related to a hospital has come to light. Where the city police raided Sheel Hospital located in Charitravan of the city on Saturday night and arrested two people who were having a liquor party. As soon as information about the raid was received, a ruckus broke out in the hospital premises and other people involved in the party left the hospital for Sheel. The police are taking further action in this matter.
Measures taken on the basis of secret information: two arrested
In this regard, the in-charge city police station received information that a liquor party was being held at Sheel Hospital near Charitravan cremation ground of the city. Then, under the leadership of Additional SHO of City Police Station Sanjay Vikas Tripathi along with armed forces reached the hospital at around 10.30 pm and started raiding Sheel Hospital. A party of Litti, mutton and rice liquor was being held in the ICU ward of the hospital. From where Dr Sunil’s brother-in-law Manoj Kumar (55), late father Ajay Kumar Singh and ICU staff Upendra Kumar, father Kanhaiya Singh were arrested on the spot.

6 pieces of 750 ml Royal Stage bottles and 7 empty bottles were recovered from the room of hospital doctor Dr. Sunil Kumar. Along with this, tetra pack of 4 pieces was recovered from 8 pm. After the incident, a question mark was raised in the city hospitals. In the same case, an FIR was registered at the city police station against Manoj Kumar, Upendra Kumar and hospital doctor Dr. Sunil Kumar and legal action has been initiated.
What did the police say?
City police station in-charge Sanjay Kumar Sinha said that after receiving information late in the night, a raid was conducted at Sheel Hospital in Charitravan where two persons were arrested while having a liquor party and liquor was also recovered from the doctor’s room. Action is being taken by registering an FIR against three identified persons including Dr Sunil and other unknown persons.
