Champai to file FIR against Special Branch officers
Himanta Biswa Sarma said Champai Soren has said that he will lodge an FIR in this matter. Champai Soren says that both of them came to Delhi from Kolkata in the same flight as he (former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren). I stayed here in the same hotel he was staying in. Initially, both the officers said that they were journalists but later they said that they were sub-inspectors of the Jharkhand Special Branch.

Himanta Biswa Sarma said that I have the photographs of both the officers, but these people do many other things. These people are involved in many other operations, including Naxal operations, so it is not appropriate for me to break their cover. I will not even share their photos. Both SB officers are still lodged at the Chanakyapuri police station.
