New Delhi: As many as 53,694 candidates were eligible for assistant professor posts after passing the CGU NETWORK Exam June 2024. Results were announced today.
According to the University Grants Commission, more than 11 lakh candidates registered for the exams, out of which around 6,84,224 candidates appeared for the said exams.
53,694 candidates eligible for assistant professorship, 4970 candidates pass JRF
The results declared by the Higher Education body indicate that 4,970 candidates passed the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), while 53,694 candidates passed the Assistant Professorship.
Around 1,12,070 candidates obtained the PhD degree.
The National Eligibility Test of the University Grants Commission ( CGU NETWORK ) The results of the June reexamination have been officially announced by the National Testing Agency ( ANT ). Candidates can now access their scores on the official website of NTA, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
To download their scorecards, candidates must enter their application number and date of birth. The re-examination for Associate Professorship, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and PhD admissions was held between August 21 and September 5, 2024.
In preparation for the results, the ANT has published the final answer keys for all subjects. Notably, certain questions have been excluded from the final key and candidates who answered these questions will be awarded full marks as per the set rules.
The provisional answer keys were released in phases, with an objection window closing on September 14. Along with the results, the ANT He is expected to announce the limits for research fellowships, assistant professorships and doctoral admissions.
The June exam faced major disruption when it was canceled just a day after it began due to concerns about the integrity of the test. The subsequent reexamination was conducted solely in computer-based testing (CBT) mode, as opposed to the previous examination format, which included both CBT and paper-and-pencil components.
