Union Home Minister Amit Shah receives Rs 19.08 crore dividend from Repco Bank | Business News

New Delhi: Repco Bank handed over a cheque of Rs. 19.08 crore as dividend to Union Home Minister and Minister for Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, in New Delhi.

“Repco Bank Chairman Shri E. Santhanam and Managing Director Shri OM Gokul handed over the cheque of Rs 19.08 crore towards 25 per cent dividend on the share capital of Rs 76.32 crore held by the Government of India for the financial year 2023-24. Union Home Secretary Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Officer on Special Duty (OSD), MHA Shri Govind Mohan were also present on the occasion,” an official release said.

“Congratulations to Repco Bank for achieving the remarkable feat of registering a stellar growth rate of 11% in FY 2023-24. Today, on behalf of MHA, I received a cheque for ₹19.08 crore from Repco Bank Chairman Shri E. Santhanam and Managing Director Shri OM Gokul as dividend from the share capital of the Government of India. The Bank, under the administrative jurisdiction of MHA, has demonstrated what can be achieved with a commitment to serve the nation,” Shah tweeted.

Repco Bank is a Government of India under the administrative control of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The bank recorded a growth of 11% in its business mix during the financial year 2023-24. As a notable achievement, today the bank has crossed a business mix of Rs 20,000 crore.
