ktm It will soon present new bicycles in its 390 range. The Austrian bicycle manufacturer will debut the 390 Adventure Rthe 390 SMC R and the 390 Enduro R in the EICMA fair this year. Ahead of the world debut of these bikes, the brand teased the 390 Adventure R at the ongoing KTM Adventure Rally 2024. In the images clicked by Simon Cudby, we can see the upcoming 390 ADV R with a camouflage livery. The cover successfully hides details about the bike, but we can still make out some details of the upcoming adventure motorcycle.
The 390 Adventure R will be more off-road focused than the 390 Adventure sold in India. The images show the Adventure R riding on adjustable inverted WP forks at the front and an adjustable suspension setup at the rear. Specific details about the bike will be revealed once it makes its debut at this year’s EICMA show. However, it will be powered by the same 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine seen in the 390 Duke. It will probably generate 45 HP and 39 Nm of maximum torque.
KTM has not made any announcement regarding the arrival of the 390 Adventure R in India. That said, we will soon see the launch of the updated 390 Adventure. The bike maker has been testing the new version of its adventure motorcycle on Indian roads and it is expected to debut soon. The new 390 Adventure is expected to receive an engine upgrade. The existing 373.27cc unit will make way for the larger 399cc engine seen in the 390 Duke. The features list will also increase, with the bike featuring a 5-inch TFT screen available on other ktm bikes in the country.
