The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, UPPSC, has postponed three of its recruitment exams due to the UP Police Constable Recruitment Re-examination to be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) from August 23 to 31, 2024.
The Commission Secretary Ashok Kumar released the revised dates of the three recruitment exams.
“The revised dates of these recruitment/selection examinations have been made available on the official website of UPPSC: https://uppsc.up.nic.in/,” the commission officials said.
In the annual recruitment examination schedule released by UPPSC on June 3, the Homoeopathic Medical Officer Selection Examination-2023 and Homoeopathic Residential Medical Officer Selection Examination-2023 were proposed to be held on August 25.
According to the new calendar, the revised dates are as follows:
- Homeopathic doctor selection exam 2023: September 15, 2024 (two sessions)
- Homeopathic Resident Physician Selection Exam 2023: September 18, 2024.
- Urban Planning Assistant Exam (Main) 2023: September 25, 2024.
Meanwhile, UPPSC officials said that the Unani Medical Officer Screening Examination-2023 will be held on the earlier scheduled date of October 6.
It is to be mentioned here that the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board (UPPRB) has announced the new UP Police Constable exam dates on its official website, uppbpb.gov.in.
According to the schedule, the exams will be held on August 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31, 2024. The exams will be held in two shifts: the first shift will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., while the second shift will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board conducted the UP Police Constable Examination in four shifts on February 17 and 18, 2024, with over 48 lakh candidates appearing for the exam.
However, the selection exam was cancelled on February 24 due to a leak of question papers. The Uttar Pradesh government had ordered that the selection exam be rescheduled within six months.
