UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the schedule for Civil Services Main Examination 2024. It is important to note that UPSC recommended 14,627 students for the UPSC Civil Services Main Examination 2024 this year after the preliminary examination, which was held on June 16 in two shifts. As per UPSC notification, the Civil Services Main Examination 2024 will begin on September 20. The Main examination will be conducted in two sessions. The morning session will begin at 9 am and will end at 12 noon, while the afternoon session will begin at 2:30 pm and will end at 5:30 pm.
Candidates should note that the Civil Services Main Examination 2024 will commence with the mock test on September 20.
On September 21, candidates will sit the General Studies I exam in the morning session and the General Studies II exam in the afternoon session. The following day, September 22, they will sit the General Studies III exam in the morning session and the General Studies IV exam in the afternoon session.
On 28 September, Paper A (Indian Language) will be held in the morning session and in the second shift, Paper B (English) will be held in the afternoon session. Candidates should note that both language papers are eliminatory. The final examinations will be held on 29 September and will cover Paper IV (Optional Subject Paper I) in the morning and Paper V (Optional Subject Paper II) in the afternoon.
