The $200 million digital spending is the highest ever in a US presidential campaign, the report said.
In a memo Saturday, the Harris-Walz campaign said the fall ad campaign will include $170 million worth of television bookings over nine weeks, starting Sept. 3, in battleground states. It also includes more than $200 million in digital bookings on platforms including Hulu, Roku and YouTube, according to an AP report.
That doesn’t include spending on ads on social media or search services. Former President Donald Trump’s campaign has only booked ad time after Labor Day in two states, the battleground states of Pennsylvania and Georgia, according to data from the media tracking firm AdImpact, AP reported.
