As soon as the news of candidate Vikas Linda’s death came out, civil surgeon Dr Praveen Kumar Santhalia, deputy superintendent of the hospital Dr Ranjan Kumar, inspector Rajiv Ranjan and police officers reached Sadar Hospital. Jirwabari police station took Vikas’ body into its custody and after conducting the post-mortem, sent it to Ranchi in an ambulance. So far, nine candidates have died in Jharkhand in the race for the restoration of the excise department.
Three members of the medical board performed the autopsy of the corpse
The post-mortem of the deceased Vikas Linda’s body was conducted by a three-member team of the medical board constituted by Sadar Hospital. The Medical Board team included Dr. Ranjan Kumar, Dr. Mukesh Kumar and Dr. Mohan Murmu. The medical team has preserved the remains of the body. Here, according to the doctor, she died due to difficulty in breathing and tachycardia.
