Viral video: Delhi vendor sells dry fruit momos and internet questions his ‘audacity’

Momo lovers can never get enough of this dish. These steamed, juicy, and smothered in spicy red gravy delights make our stomachs dance with joy. From fried to tandoori to plain steamed, we all have a favourite version of momos. Many people also experiment with weird momos recipes. From maaza momos to gulab jamun momos, this delicious street snack has been the butt of amazing combinations. Now, there’s a new fusion that has everyone talking. Introducing momos with dry fruits. No, we’re not kidding. In a viral Instagram reel shared by video creator Foodler (@realfoodler), a Delhi-based vendor is seen explaining how to make momos with dry fruits.

First, put a lot of butter in a pan. Then put nuts — almonds, raisins and cashews. Then add onions, carrots and bell peppers to the mixture. After cooking it for a few seconds, add cream, cheese sauce and mayonnaise. Next, add salt, garam masala and red chilli powder to the sauce and cook it for a few more minutes. Lastly, place pre-fried paneer momos pieces in this thick white gravy. The dry fruit paneer momos are ready.
