Air India has unveiled a new first class cabin that sets new standards in luxury and comfort. The airline’s latest offering has received rave reviews, including from prominent figures like Shashank Sharma, founder of GQuant and First Global.
Shashank Sharma on September 1 praised the new booth of social media platform X and said, “The new Indian air “The planes with this Business-First cabin are very, very nice. The individual cubicles are very well designed and the length of the flat seat is long enough for me, who is 1.80 m tall. The food was excellent, the wine selection very good. The service, as always with AI, very warm.”
He added that the new cabins could significantly challenge the high fares of other West Asian airlines.
Indian airOn its official website, the airline invites passengers to “experience true luxury in the sky” with its state-of-the-art first class cabin. The airline promises a journey that redefines comfort, with features such as 180-degree reclining bunks and a unique two-by-two seating arrangement, ensuring that all 12 first class passengers arrive at their destinations fully rested.
The onboard culinary experience is equally impressive, offering a variety of starters accompanied by vintage wines or smooth champagne. Passengers can also enjoy duty-free shopping at the Sky Bazaar, which features a variety of well-known brands.
Following the merger of Vistara with Air India, Tata SIA Airlines has announced that flights scheduled till 11 November 2024 will be bookable through the Vistara platform till 3 September 2024. After 11 November 2024, Vistara’s fleet will be fully integrated into Air India’s operations, with all remaining Vistara bookings being managed by Air India. In May 2024, Air India clarified that Vistara’s loyalty programme would be absorbed into Air India’s Flying Returns programme, assuring that lounge access benefits would remain unchanged. However, customers who have purchased lounge access through Vistara might have concerns about how this service will be managed after 12 November 2024.
