According to weathermen, a low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal while the monsoon trough is also passing through Mandla district of the state. In such a situation, due to weather systems formed at different places, moderate rainfall is possible in districts of Jabalpur, Rewa, Shahdol and Sagar divisions in the coming days. There are chances of light rainfall in other districts as well.

According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal off the coast of Andhra Pradesh and adjacent to Orissa. There is a possibility of it moving northwards in two days and reaching West Bengal and north Orissa and turning into a depression, while the monsoon trough will pass over Suratgarh, Rohtak, Orai and Mandla due to low pressure in the Bay of Bengal region, while a cyclone remains over western Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Haryana in the upper plains. A trough has formed from this cyclone up to Manipur state.

At the same time, a cyclone is forming in the upper air over central Rajasthan. Due to all these weather systems, good rainfall is expected at different places in Madhya Pradesh in the coming days. The rainfall activity may increase in the eastern districts of Madhya Pradesh from Friday. Especially in the districts of Jabalpur, Rewa, Shahdol, Sagar and the division, moderate rainfall may start again. Also, in other areas there are chances of light rain with thunder.
