Weekly NFT sales rise to $85.9 million, Ethereum network leads the pack

The non-fungible token market has seen a 10.10% increase in sales volume over the past seven days.

The current data acquired from Cryptocoup shows that NFT sales volume increased in the last seven days and amounts to $85.97 million.

The figures are higher compared to weekly NFT sales in the last two weeks of September.

Along with the increase in NFT sales volume, there has been a 21.73% increase in NFT buyers. According to the latest data, NFT buyers increased to 794,763 and NFT sellers more than halved, to 377,711.

Supporting the increase in NFT sales volume, NFT transactions increased by over 64.72% in the last seven days to 1,2956,201. We will analyze in depth the networks that have made the highest sales during this time.

Ethereum holds firm in the rankings

According to Cryptoslam data, Ethereum (ETH) has remained in the first ranking with 27.48 million dollars in NFT sales volume.

However, $3.3 million of sales represented wash trade. The number of Ethereum NFT buyers increased by 12.49% and stood at 55,859.

Bitcoin (btc) is second on the list with $12.62 million in total sales. However, there has been a 40% drop in sales over the last seven days.

solana (SUN) ranks third with $11.8 million in sales. Chain of Myths (MYTH), Polygon (Pol) and Binance coin (BNB) ranked next with $11.8 million, $10.6 million, and $3.35 million in sales, respectively.

bitcoin and solarium represented $887,810 and $701,810 in washing operations. The highest number of buyers was registered in Solana, which stood at 393,044.

DMarket is the NFT collection that has recorded the highest sales in the last seven days. Sales amounted to 11.29 million dollars, which were completed in more than 396,801 transactions.

Guild of Guardians came in at second position with $3.19 million in sales across over 5,389 transactions. Third on the list is Ethereum-based CryptoPunks. CryptoPunks recorded a sales volume of $2.89 million during this period.

Speaking of top collectible NFT sales, here are the top NFT sales that occurred during this period:

  • Autoglyphs #209 sold for $240,347.95 (99 ETH).
  • Known Origin #70104 sold for $200,000 (200,000 USDC).
  • Autoglyphs #512 sold for $160,000 (160,000 USDC).
  • Autoglyphs #293 sold for $150,008.23 (56 WETH).
  • Beeple Special Edition #100030016 sold for $123,542.80 (50 WETH).
