Mukesh Ahlawat: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Mukesh Ahlawat will be the new face of the cabinet headed by Delhi Chief Minister-designate Atishi, while four ministers will remain intact. Atishi, who has been appointed as the Delhi Chief Minister, and her cabinet colleagues will be sworn in on September 21. The party said Gopal Rai, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Kailash Gehlot and Imran Hussain will be given a place in the cabinet again. Ahlawat, an MP from Delhi’s Sultanpur Majra, will be inducted into the vacancy left by Social Welfare Minister Raj Kumar Anand following his resignation.

The party has introduced Mukesh Ahlawat as a new Dalit face. Ahlawat is an MLA from Sultanpur Majra. He won from this seat for the first time in 2020 and made it to the House. The MLA who studied till 12th is a businessman by profession. The party has entrusted the responsibility of co-burden of Rajasthan to Ahlawat. When Arvind Kejriwal was in prison, he continuously visited every locality, held meetings and spread the “Kejriwal message” among the public. Ahlawat can take over the responsibility of the Social Justice Department.
