Many times, eating too fast or eating under stress also leads to feeling hungry again and again. Many times this problem is also caused by insufficient production of insulin in the body. If you follow a diet with too many carbohydrates, the blood sugar level rises rapidly and when the amount of sugar in the body decreases, you feel hungry quickly. To get rid of this problem of feeling hungry again and again, increase the amount of protein and fatty foods in your diet. Reduce the amount of refined carbohydrate sources like packaged foods, pizza, pasta, cookies, refined flour, etc. Instead of these, increase the amount of complex carbohydrate sources like legumes, fruits, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and rice, etc. in the diet.

Adequate intake of polyunsaturated fats is also important for regular periods. For this, include fatty fish like salmon, etc., walnuts, and flax seeds in your diet. You can also benefit from taking omega-three fatty acid supplements. Folate is an essential mineral for regular periods. As for folate, include chickpeas, beans, green leafy vegetables, and citrus fruits as a part of your diet. Fruits like papaya and pineapple help in normal bleeding during menstruation. Papaya contains a nutrient called carotene, which balances the level of the estrogen hormone in the body. Pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain, which helps in blood circulation. Some spices can also help you regularize your periods. Cinnamon controls insulin levels in the body, which affects other hormones and menstrual cycles in the body. Turmeric has a warming effect, which helps regularize periods by correcting the hormonal system. Whole coriander also helps regularize periods. Soak a tablespoon of whole coriander in water. Boil that water along with coriander in the morning. When the water reduces to half, turn off the gas, filter the mixture and drink this water after it cools down a bit. Drink coriander water like this thrice a day. Consuming this water continuously for a few days eliminates menstrual problems.
