Yellow alert for rain in 5 districts including Patna, wind to blow at speed of 40 km

Rain Alert: These days the weather is changing rapidly in most of the districts of Bihar. Sometimes people get relief due to clouds in the sky and then rain and sometimes they are worried by the heat due to intense sunlight. The play of sun and shade continues in the capital Patna on Wednesday morning. At the same time, the Patna Meteorological Department Centre has issued an immediate forecast and expressed the possibility of rains in at least five districts of the state.

It will rain in these districts

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in various parts of Banka, Rohtas, Patna, Bhojpur and Shekhpura districts during the next one to three hours. During this time, the meteorological department has also expressed the possibility of lightning and thunder. Besides, strong winds with a speed of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour will also blow during the rains. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for these districts.

The Meteorological Department warns

The IMD has urged people to be alert to the changing weather. People have also been advised to stay away from electric poles and trees in view of the possibility of lightning. Farmers have also been advised not to go to the fields during this period and have been asked to wait for better weather.

What was the weather like in the last 24 hours?

During the last 24 hours, the southwest monsoon activity remained weak over the state. Light to moderate rainfall was recorded at many places in south-central and south-central parts of the state and at a few places in southwest. The highest temperature during this period was recorded at Sitamarhi at 38.2 degrees Celsius. The lowest minimum temperature of 24.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at Dehri of Rohtas.
