Yogi government has given a gift on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, bus service will be free for women 24 hours a day

Raksha Bandhan: Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation has announced that it will provide free bus travel to women on Raksha Bandhan. Now women will not have to pay fare to travel in highway buses as well as city buses. According to the information, the benefit of this free bus facility can be availed from 12 midnight on August 18 to 12 midnight on August 19.

Please be advised that on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, women will be able to travel free of cost in city buses plying in 15 major cities of the state. On this festival, women can travel in city buses operated through SPV in major cities of the state – Lucknow, Kanpur, Meerut, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Moradabad, Jhansi, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Shahjahanpur, Agra and Mathura-Vrindavan. You will get 24 hours of free travel.

For the convenience of people travelling on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, a special train has been started from Uttar Pradesh to Delhi. This railway facility will run smoothly till 19th August. Let us tell you that the Indian Railway Board has started the superfast special train 04145-04146 Prayagraj-Delhi. These special trains will run on both inbound and outbound routes. This train runs from Aligarh to Prayagraj and from Prayagraj to Aligarh. This special train facility started on 15th August and the special trains will continue to run with three trips till 20th August.
