Threat in TV debate: Rajesh Chaudhary, BJP MLA from Mant seat in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, has received death threats. A complaint has been lodged in this regard at the police station. During a TV debate on August 23, he had termed former state Chief Minister Mayawati as the most corrupt leader. Following this, Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav and Azad Samaj Party chief and MP Chandrashekhar Azad slammed his remarks.

BJP MLA Rajesh Choudhary alleged in the complaint filed against unknown persons that on the night of August 25, someone had called them and threatened to kill him and his son. According to the complaint, on August 30 too, someone called Chaudhary and abused him. The caller threatened me with caste-based abuse and said that you make a lot of statements on television. We will meet. Our leader has given us orders to kill you.

Rs 10 lakh reward for person who returns severed tongue
