He wrote: “When I was in business school, the only criterion for joining a college society or club was ‘enthusiasm’. If you were willing to put in the effort, most clubs and societies were willing to have you join. I often wondered how it could be that interest in something was the only criterion. Surely skills matter.”
“In recent years, it has become clear that unlike previous generations, most of us will not have just one job and one profession for our entire lives. We will frequently change careers as we evolve. The only determining factor in staying relevant will be your enthusiasm for learning new things. Skills can be acquired as long as you have the right mindset.”
