“I was quite worried when planning my honeymoon with my baby in Malaysia, as I have a toddler, which comes with its own challenges. It wasn’t always easy to balance naps, meals, and keeping the little one entertained during long days of sightseeing,” she shares. However, traveling with her family proved to be a blessing. “They were always ready to help, whether it was taking turns to control tantrums, carrying extra bags, or keeping my little one entertained with impromptu games. Their support allowed me to enjoy moments of calm and relaxation, knowing that my little one was in good hands,” she adds.

Jain spent her days exploring the cities of Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and the serene island of Langkawi. “In Kuala Lumpur, I enjoyed the bustling city markets, Batu Caves, and the iconic Petronas Towers. Penang offered a unique blend of culture and cuisine, where I savoured local delicacies and walked the colourful streets of George Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Langkawi, I relaxed on pristine beaches, enjoyed the extraordinary fire show, and took a thrilling speedboat ride to the George Kilin Forest in Langkawi. The journey itself was exhilarating, with the wind in my hair and breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea all around,” shares Jain.

Advice for moms: Prioritize comfort by scheduling ample downtime and choosing a mix of activities that balance exploration with relaxation. All of our domestic travel was scheduled by plane, as motion sickness gives me the shivers during pregnancy.

To celebrate their honeymoon, Pragya planned a 10-day getaway to Greece with her husband and 3-year-old son. “We toured Athens, Santorini, and Paros. We took many ferry rides and walked over 10,000 steps a day. Athens was all history and culture and the three of us thoroughly enjoyed it, including the morning hike to the Acropolis. Santorini was beautiful and we definitely saw some of the best sunsets ever. We booked an afternoon cruise and enjoyed swimming in the Aegean Sea when they docked. Paros was a beautiful, picturesque island and the perfect destination to end our vacation,” she shares.

Advice for moms: Travel in the second trimester to create a memory that will last a lifetime; the fifth month is the most ideal.
