A YouTuber named Nicholas Perry, popularly known as “Nikocado Avocado,” has secretly lost over 250 pounds (114 kg) over the past two years. Perry did all this while playing an elaborate two-year prank on his viewers by posting old food-centric videos to make them believe he was busy eating all that food. He stunned his viewers with this extreme weight loss transformation revelation as they never suspected anything due to his regular video posting schedule.
The bombshell was dropped on her viewers in the video titled “Two Steps Ahead,” in which she admitted to tricking her fans with pre-recorded videos during her weight loss journey. The video has garnered over 20 million views. The video begins with Perry wearing a panda head and saying, “I’m always two steps ahead.”

What happened
The renowned YouTuber said that his transformation had been a rather personal and private process. He called it “the biggest social experiment of my entire life.” He said, “It’s worrying, it’s compelling, it’s enthralling to watch all these sick, disoriented beings wandering around the internet looking for stories, ideas, rivalries where they feel encouraged, engaged.” In another video, shared on a different YouTube channel, he seemed more relaxed as he briefly recalled how he was able to pull off this incredible stunt. He confessed that he hadn’t filmed a single video in two years and was instead just showing off old content on his YouTube channel to keep it alive while focusing on his health and wellbeing at the same time. His viewers were quite impressed by his dedication and commitment to the secret he kept throughout his weight loss journey.
