He Dragon ball The saga will soon return to our screens in a new version to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Akira ToriyamaThe original 1984 manga, which launched the ever-expansive and beloved anime franchise. Under the production banner of the legendary Toei Animation studio, the new visionary adventure of the DAIMA Dragon Ball The series is set to take off this October.
The anime’s next chapter will bring new pages of the franchise to life with captivating characters based on the art of the late iconic mangaka. Goku and his friend to the unknown “Demon Realm”. In addition to the widely known characters who become small in a conspiratorial twist, new characters Glorio and Panzy will also find a warm place in the ensemble.

The creatives behind the Dragon Ball anime DAIMA
Grammy Award-winning artist and music producer Zedd joins the supporting crew, having composed the opening track “Jaka Jaan” alongside C&K (CLIEVY and KEEN). The high-powered collaborations don’t end there, as Zedd also produces the closing track “NAKAMA,” with IA writing and performing the tune.
Directed by Yoshitaka Yashima (key animator on Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge) and Aya Komaki (series director on One Piece), Dragon Ball DAIMA was introduced to the world in October 2023 at a special panel during New York Comic Con.
Yuko Kakihara joins the directing duo for series composition and script, and Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru is directing animation character designs.
New additions to the voice cast showcased in the main trailer recently include Showtaro Morikubo as Gomah, Junya Enoki as Degesu, and Yoko Hikasa as Dr. Arinsu.
Dragon Ball DAIMA Release Date and Streaming Details
The next addition to the numerous Dragon Ball anime episode series will premiere on October 11. New weekly subtitled episodes will air simultaneously for international audiences with the Japanese television broadcast on Fuji Television.
Crunchyroll leads the charts as the official streaming platform for Dragon Ball DAIMA episodes in the US, Canada, Latin America (including Brazil), Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, and Southeast Asia.
