Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal beats Delhi traffic to attend Diljit Dosanjh concert

New Delhi: Global pop star Diljit Dosanjh “set the stage on fire” on October 26 with his first concert of his ‘Dil-Luminati’ tour in the National Capital. The streets near the JLN stadium were packed as fans flocked to the venue.

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal shared a glimpse of the chaotic traffic outside with a photo, with the caption: “Walking the last mile to JLN stadium for Diljit. “A lot of traffic.”

In a follow-up story, Goyal posted another photo, sharing that he had finally made it inside. The story included a billboard listing items prohibited for the concert.

Delhi traffic advisory for Diljit Dosanjh concert

Diljit Dosanjh will also perform in Delhi on October 27. Large crowds are expected at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, which seats more than 60,000. With doors opening at 5:30 pm, fans are eager to witness the star power of one of India’s most loved artists.

Ahead of the shows, the Delhi Traffic Police issued an advisory on Friday for the general public. They advised the public to avoid BP Marg, Lodhi Road, Lala Lajpat Rai Marg and nearby roads from 4 pm to 11 pm. Restrictions will also be applied on heavy vehicles from JLN Stadium red light to BP Marg during these hours on both days.
